Meet the Founder
Kimberly Davidson is a former Executive Director/CEO, counsellor, organizational leader, and author whose work explores governance, leadership, employee experience, and the human realities of organizations.
Her career has given her a rare view of the workplace from multiple perspectives — the boardroom, the executive office, the leadership table, and the experience of the individual employee.
Throughout her work, Kimberly has hired and led people, worked alongside boards and senior leaders, supported employees through difficult circumstances, and seen how easily someone's professional contribution can become reduced to a résumé, a job title, one difficult workplace, or one person's version of their story.
Reference Ready™ grew from the belief that professional reputations deserve more thoughtful attention.
Employers need reliable information when making decisions about people. Professionals deserve the opportunity to have their experience, contribution, strengths, and character understood in a fuller and more accurate context.
That is the space Reference Ready™ was created to serve.
“I have sat on the employer side of the table, but I have also spent much of my career trying to understand the human experience inside organizations. I know what decision-makers listen for, and I know how much can be lost when a person's contribution is reduced to a résumé or a brief reference conversation. Reference Ready™ exists because the whole professional story matters.”
